How to Build Your Learning Skills Online

Are you worried that you don’t have the study skills you need to succeed in school?

Whether you’re facing middle-school, high-school, or college, consider building your learning skills online to give yourself an edge.

Why Bother With Learning Skills?

Study skills and effective strategies for learning are not explicitly taught in school. They are a hidden requirement for success that students are expected to develop and discover on their own.

As a result, even students who are highly motivated to do well face serious challenges as they move through the educational system. This is because even students who do well often don’t know why some learning strategies work and others don’t. They happen to be using strategies that work for their current situation, but struggle to adapt when they go to a new school.

Scientific studies have shown that there are certain study skills and strategies that work better than others because they support the way our mind works with information. But, these strategies rarely if ever make it from the scholarly journals to the students who need them.

Why Build Learning Skills Online?

Because now you can. We’ve put together an online study skills course for you that is engaging, visually stimulating, and interactive. It will help you develop study skills by explicitly teaching you scientifically validated strategies and techniques for:

  • Being smarter about how you learn
  • Remembering more of the information you study, and remembering it longer
  • Using what you have learned more effectively at test time

Our online learning skills program provides common sense explanations of a wide selection of learning strategies. It relies on creative graphics and animations to make tough concepts (like how your memory works) easy to understand.

But that’s not all. The online learning skills course goes beyond simply describing effective learning strategies by providing hands-on activities and exercises that enable you to practice your knowledge and learning skills.

Using a carefully crafted narrative and practical exercises, the learning skills course teaches you learning strategies that work, and helps you appreciate why they work.

When you understand why your study strategies work, you’ll be able to tackle any subject.

Our study skills program will give you the tools and insight you need to learn for tests, and for life.
